If anyone who reads this blog is working on a federal campaign I just want to wish you luck as you approach tomorrow’s FEC deadline.

If you’re NOT already working towards an FEC deadline, this is a critical time for our Democrats (and Independent Ken Grandlund). The Baltimore Group supports two campaigns through Act Blue and would like to encourage you to send a little help their way via the link on the right. John Tester and Ned Lamont need our support big time so help out if you can.

Why is tomorrow important? I’m glad you asked! After every FEC deadline, campaigns are assessed by the media, by DC, and by their opponents. It’s when they brandish their money and prove that they are for real. Sure, a dollar on Monday helps, too, but no one is going to know about it until July when the next quarter ends. So if you want to support a grassroots effort that might be struggling to stake its claim, now is the time to do it.

As for me, I’ve had my head down at work all week trying to make the most out of our filing Friday. It’s going great but I can’t wait for Saturday when I can get back to my posting schedule. Thanks to Philo and binger for keepin’ on keepin’ on.
